Stained Glass Supplies
A soldering iron is used to solder the joints on a stained glass window, or solder a bead on a copper foil project. Solder irons are available in a variety different watts. The most common watt for stained glass projects are 80 -100 watts. However if so needed soldering irons are available up 300 watts.  If you are soldering a smaller project and new to stained glass I recommend an 80 watt iron. It is easy to handle and the lower heat will help prevent melting the lead when soldering a leaded glass window.
